Hot Cross Bun Pudding

Who loves a bread pudding? Well if that’s you, I’ve got the perfect pudding for you! Made with creamy custard and melted white chocolate, this is perfect as an Easter pudding or any time of year! #HotCrossBunsAreNotJustForEaster


  • 3 hot cross buns cut in half (across the width not the length)
  • 200g custard
  • 3 tbsp Grenade white chocolate protein spread *or any white chocolate spread / butter
  • 100g melted white chocolate
  • 2 tbsps coconut sugar
  • Sprinkle raspberries (I used frozen)
  • Drizzle of melted dark or milk chocolate spread
  • Sprinkle of icing sugar


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180° Celsius
  2. Toast the hot cross buns
  3. Spread the white chocolate spread on the buns
  4. Mix the custard with the melted white chocolate
  5. Pop the hot cross buns in an oven dish
  6. Pour over the custard mixture
  7. Sprinkle the coconut sugar over the top
  8. Place the raspberries around the pudding
  9. Bake for 20 mins
  10. Top with icing sugar and protein chocolate spread
