This was a mid-week quick, simple and nutritious stir fry meal that tasted clean and delicious π
Ingredients
- Stir fry beef – x 500g
- Stir fry vegetable mix – x 1 packet
- Red onion – x 1
- Mushrooms – 1 cup
- Ginger – fresh x 1 thumbnail or seasoning x 1 tsp
- Garlic – fresh x 1 thumbnail or seasoning x 1 tsp
- Chinese 5 spice seasoning – 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
- Oxo cube (beef)Β – x 1
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Coconut oil – 1 tbsp.
- Sesame seeds
Make it
- Chop and fry the onion and mushroom in a pan with the coconut oil until softened / browned
- Chop and add the garlic and ginger if using fresh
- Pop the stir fry beef into the pan (medium heat) and stir through
- Add the stir fry vegetable pack and the seasoning including the oxo cube and soy sauce
- Stir through until heated through
- Pop in a bowl
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top

Your meals always look great, and your pictures always look nice, too! I get a good laugh at my food pics in comparison, just kind of thrown on the plate and the pictures shot with an iPhone, all the while I have a really nice DSLR gathering dust! Again – good job!
