Sesame Beef Stir Fry

This was a mid-week quick, simple and nutritious stir fry meal that tasted clean and delicious 🙂

Ingredients

  • Stir fry beef – x 500g
  • Stir fry vegetable mix – x 1 packet
  • Red onion – x 1
  • Mushrooms – 1 cup
  • Ginger – fresh x 1 thumbnail or seasoning x 1 tsp
  • Garlic – fresh x 1 thumbnail or seasoning x 1 tsp
  • Chinese 5 spice seasoning – 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Oxo cube (beef) – x 1
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Coconut oil – 1 tbsp.
  • Sesame seeds

Make it

  • Chop and fry the onion and mushroom in a pan with the coconut oil until softened / browned
  • Chop and add the garlic and ginger if using fresh
  • Pop the stir fry beef into the pan (medium heat) and stir through
  • Add the stir fry vegetable pack and the seasoning including the oxo cube and soy sauce
  • Stir through until heated through
  • Pop in a bowl
  • Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top

  3. Your meals always look great, and your pictures always look nice, too! I get a good laugh at my food pics in comparison, just kind of thrown on the plate and the pictures shot with an iPhone, all the while I have a really nice DSLR gathering dust! Again – good job!
